Born and raised in New Jersey, I began playing lacrosse and ice hockey at the age of 4. We moved to California in the 7th grade and I worked hard to reestablish myself on the West coast. I was fortunate to have played for SoCal Express, Pride Lacrosse and now with California Gold and West Coast Starz. I am a starting Varsity player on the Mater Dei High School team for all three years. Our team was 17-4 for the 2022 season and we won the Trinity League title again.
In the summer of 2021, I attended 3 showcase events: GFW, Apex 60 and Under Armour. I received an All Star Honorable mention from GFW in NJ, was named to the Under Armour Spotlight all tournament team. This summer of 2022, I will be at Blakcard in DE, Maverik Showtime in NJ and Under Armour again in MD, as well as several tournaments for Cali Gold and West Coast Starz.
In August I will be representing my grandmother's home country of Uganda at the U21 World Championship in Ireland. We first travel to Kampala, Uganda for training camp, then off to Ireland for the tournament. I could not be more proud or excited.
In my sophomore year, I took AP European History and as a Junior, I am currently taking AP US History and AP Literature as well as Honors Spanish III. I am very involved with my high school's Model United Nations program. Last year we traveled to York, England in February 2020 just before COVID to compete internationally. I was a Student Advisor last year and this year took on a bigger role as Secretary. During the summer of 2020, I volunteered and created camp experiences for young children who were home during the pandemic. I have over 106 service hours to date.
Named sole captain of my Mater Dei Ice Hockey team as a Junior. I recently took up golf and now that I am living on the west coast, my close friend is giving me sailing lessons.

Tej is a very technical and sound defenseman. His lacrosse IQ is outstanding, he is very receptive to constructive criticism and applies it to his game. He has the ability to dictate where the offensive player goes and has the skill to be a take away defender without giving up position. His stickwork is above average for a player his age and he is a vacuum off the ground. Tej is the definition of a coachable player, with his natural skill and his work ethic to be better, the sky is truly the limit for him and his lacrosse career.
Jon Fox
Tej has shown constant improvement as an athlete and a player. He listens to the coaching and works to make the adjustments. He has good size with room to fill out and he plays tough. His second sport of hockey has helped him grind on the gb's and helped him be spatially aware in holding his positioning and angles.
Knute Kraus
Tej is a cerebral defenseman who really understands when and where he needs to be on the field. He uses his size and athleticism to set himself up for success when he is defending the ball. His stick skills allow him to be creative in his approach to the game and adds an extra element to clearing the ball. Overall, Tej is a coaches dream in his approach and work ethic towards lacrosse and the way he always pushes himself to become a better player!
