My name is Tema Wagner and am a current member of the Sound Lacrosse 2024 team. I have been playing lacrosse for the past eight years and am very passionate about the game. As a defender I rely on my high LAX IQ to be in the right place at the right time which I combine with my speed and strength to clear the ball effectively. I am also comfortable in the midfield and have the stick and shooting skills to contribute on offense.
As a multi-sport athlete I was also a member of my high school soccer team after many years as a competitive club player. My studies are as important as athletics, currently I carry a 4.0 grade point average with a challenging Honors course load while also participating in a variety of clubs including Charity Link and Model UN. Off the field and outside the classroom I am an artist and very active in my community . Philanthropy is important to me and I am a member of the National Charity League and am the president of my NCL class. I love playing the game of lacrosse, I love being with my teammates, and contributing to something bigger than myself!
