Excellent academics, very coachable, lacrosse IQ and situational awareness are best in class, leads both teams in ground balls.
Started lacrosse for the Upper Merion Vikings in 3rd and 4th grade under Coach Jose Almonte. Was chosen by my teammates to represent the team in a Braveheart to win the 7th grade Irish Skirmish Lacrosse tournament. My commitment to my academics and athletics was recognized by the school faculty in 2017 as the only student to ever receive both the Character, Honor, Spirit Award and Boys Cup Award for best overall athlete. Was asked by the HS Varsity coach to play for the Varsity lacrosse team during the Spring 2017 season as an 8th grade student. As a Freshman off the bench led the H.S. JV basketball team in steals while keeping my academics at the forefront. Box lacrosse during the Winter months has allowed me to hone my stick skills allowing me to lead the varsity HS Lacrosse team in my sophomore year in ground balls as well as being able to move the ball up field in a controlled manner with a Long Stick.

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching TJ the last 2 years at Shipley. TJ comes from a wonderful family, is extremely coachable, and is a pleasure to be around on a daily basis. He has started for us both close & LSM, and is developing into an outstanding young player.

TJ is a great young man and blossoming athlete. As a defensemen, he impacts the game both close and as an LSM. Although being a 2021, he has competed with our 2020 team multiple times against some of the best club teams in the country. Please reach out with questions.
