Tess Lebed joined the Forester women's lacrosse coaching staff in the summer of 2021.

Lebed spent the 2016, 2017, and 2018 seasons at Carthage College, where she served as an assistant for two years and interim head coach for one. Carthage was 33-18 overall and 12-6 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play with Lebed on staff and the team's 12 victories with her a interim head coach matched the program record.

In addition to her experience at Carthage, Lebed spent five seasons coaching at the club level with True Lacrosse in Lombard, Illinois. She served as an assistant and head coach at multiple levels while also providing one-on-one private coaching lessons during her time with the club.

Lebed was a four-year member of the club women's lacrosse team at Marquette University and graduated in December of 2013. She went on to earn a master's degree in higher education from Carthage in 2017.
