I started playing lacrosse in middle school after discovering it through my friends. I have run track all my life, and wanted to try my hand at something new. Lacrosse has been my love ever since picking up a stick! I was Varsity in Track both freshman and sophomore year. JV as a freshman in lacrosse, and then Varsity as a sophomore. I am comfortable stretching the field from the defensive end, as well as locking on to the other team's primary scorer and defending through the entire attack zone. I'm at my best attacking from long range and putting pressure on the other team's defense - especially on a break, after creating a turnover or on a double clear, and doing so when they are not expecting it! Academically I am taking AP and Honors courses, have already completed my foreign language requirements for graduation, and have a 3.9 weighted GPA - as well as Honor Roll as a freshman and sophomore! I am a member of the Girl Scouts (have been since 2009), and enjoy civic service volunteer projects!
