Thomas Bethune
Recruit Profile
Very coachable, team player, "all business" on the field and laid back off the field, strong Lax IQ, student athlete, not a "me" player
I started playing lacrosse when I was 5 and have been fortunate to play for some great coaches. My original club program disbanded, and I've spent time playing on various club teams ever since. This has given me the opportunity to adapt to new players and new coaches. I enjoy playing lacrosse with/against players from other areas because I believe it gives me better insight into the game. I am a student of the game, and work on my lacrosse IQ as much as I do on my strength and conditioning. I also play linebacker and special teams for Loyola Blakefield Varsity Football, serve as an ambassador for Loyola Blakefield admissions, and participate in Junior Classic league. I played for the Loyola Blakefield Varsity Lacrosse team in 2019. I played for the Loyola JV lacrosse team in the championship in 2018, and was a key player on the Loyola Frosh team in 2017, where we went undefeated. I'm honored to have won Inside Lacrosse Recruiting Invitational Session 1 in 2016 (Juiced Cherries) and the MD Youth Lacrosse State Championship in 2016 (Gamber Lacrosse).
I am a hard worker who on average is in the weight room 5 days each week. I log thousands of reps on the wall, shoot buckets of balls, and drive myself with ground ball drills.
