Beginning at 7, I played midfield but settled in playing close D. Starting as LSM, I took faceoffs on Varsity my freshman year going undefeated in conference play while competing against a two- time all American in practice every day.
Sophmore year I moved to close defence and led the team in groundballs.
Summer 2016 highlights include LIBERTY BELL TOURNEY and BEST OF THE BEST in Long Island losing by one goal to Team Long Island in the championship game. Playing with a pole on defence, I felt my strongest ability was creating opportunities during ball possession. Transitioning to midfield in the following HS season, I found my groove as a ball handler and scorer- 2nd highest for our team.
In the classroom I completed honors classes as a Freshman, APs in my sophmore year, passing the AP World History Exam and finished strong my Junior year with AP Language and Composition and IB Business. As a Senior year I am enrolled in AP European History, AP Literature, AP Psycology, and AP US Government and Politics. I have assisted with several of my schools community projects including one named "The Book Desert Project" in which we collected books, built book cases and depositories and distributed them to neighboring schools. Additionally, I have also helped the food pantry club at Grimsley High School. When I am not at school or playing lacrosse, I work as a lifeguard at the YMCA, where I have been employed for two years. I am also active in my church youth group.
