"I am excited to welcome Thomas to Lewiston," stated Coach Annino. "With his infectious enthusiasm, attention to detail, and extraordinary work ethic, Coach Klosowski will be an invaluable addition to this coaching staff, program, and athletic department. He brings with him a tremendous level of experience, skill, and knowledge as a player, coach, and recruiter. However, it is his passion for building relationships with, and the development of, the young men in this program that sets him apart. We are incredibly fortunate to welcome Coach Klosowski to the Bates Men's Lacrosse family!"

The newest member of Bates athletics joins the Bobcats after serving as an assistant coach with Kenyon College (Gambier, Ohio) of the North Coast Athletic Conference since July 2018. A defensive specialist, Klosowski played a vital in leading the Owls to a program-best 14-4 record this past spring, which included the team's first-ever NCAC postseason triumph.

"I am excited about joining the Bates family," said Klosowski. "The combination of high academics, alumni support, student outcomes, facilities, and a culture of success stands out to me. The faculty and staff have been very welcoming; I am grateful to Coach Annino and them for this opportunity."

Overseeing a top-3 nationally-ranked defense at Kenyon, Klosowski's unit paced the NCAC in caused turnovers, man-down goals, scoring defense, and goals allowed. Making the postseason each year while on the sidelines with the Owls, his student-athletes enjoyed plenty of accolades with 29 All-NCAC selections (including NCAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2022), three USILA All-Americans, six USILA Scholar All-Americans, and a pair of USILA Academic Team awards.

A major presence on the club lacrosse circuit, Klosowski served as boys' head coach for Resolute Lacrosse in Columbus, Ohio. Thomas is also owner and operator of TK Athletics LLC (Miami, Fla.), an organization intended to build youth, middle, and high school developmental programs in South Florida.

Klosowski enjoyed an extensive playing career, one that resulted in him playing for the Florida Launch of Major League Lacrosse. His journey to the professional ranks began with an All-America high school career that included earning the 2010 Miami-Dade Player of the Year award at Gulliver Prep in Miami. He achieved additional All-America prowess at Onondaga Community College (Syracuse, N.Y.), helping the program acheive a pair of National Junior College Athletic Association championships.
