Profile
Tim Cox enters his third season with Saints in 2020-21.

Despite the 2020 season being shortened, Siena collected a pair of non-conference wins over LIU and NJIT, both coming at home. The Saints finished the season fifth in the nation in caused turnovers per-game (10.33) and saves per-game (14.83).

Cox joined Siena after a two-year stint at Robert Morris University, where he helped lead the Colonials to a 22-12 record over two years. He helped guide the program's first ever NCAA appearance in 2018 after winning the NEC. The Colonials would defeat Canisius in the opening round before falling to top-ranked Maryland in the second round.

Cox was previously at UAlbany, helping them to a No. 4 ranking in the USILA Coaches Poll and Inside Lacrosse Cascade/Maverick Media Poll, the highest ranking for the team since 2007. The 2016 season marked the Great Danes' fourth consecutive perfect America East regular season.

A former standout Great Dane midfielder, Cox led UAlbany to three America East Tournament titles and a pair of NCAA Tournament victories. He collected America East All-Conference Second Team accolades while wearing the captain's "C" for his senior year in 2015. He finished his career with 40 goals and 12 assists for 52 points, adding 55 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers. In his senior season, he recorded at least one point in 16 of 19 games played.
