Tim Dokken is the current Head Coach of North Central University.

A former three-year player and team captain of NCU men's lacrosse, Dokken comes to North Central bringing a plethora of experience in both the coaching and playing realms. Dokken started his competitive lacrosse career at Northfield High School, where he was nominated as team captain in his junior and senior seasons while earning a place on the all-conference list.

After high school, Dokken was recruited to play lacrosse for the Rams when the program was first introduced before the 2017 season. His time in a Rams uniform is highlighted by helping build the program in both size and competitiveness throughout his three-year career. Upon graduating from North Central in 2019, Dokken decided to return back to the program as a graduate assistant coach, where he will rely on eight years of coaching at the youth lacrosse level for programs including: Northfield Youth Lacrosse, Homegrown Lacrosse, and the Minnesota Chill 14U team.

From an academic standpoint, Dokken currently holds a bachelor of science in entrepreneurship from North Central. Dokken is now in pursuit of receiving his master's degree in strategic leadership where is he on pace to graduate in 2022.

Outside of coaching Rams men's lacrosse, Dokken still serves as a coach for Homegrown Lacrosse, located in Minneapolis. On a personal note, Dokken enjoys golfing, skiing, bikings, playing basketball, and digital design while residing in Minneapolis.
