Tim Edwards was hired in December of 2020 to be an assistant for the men's lacrosse team.

Edwards lacrosse career has taken him around the country, as he was a member of the US Indoor National team, played in the MLL, and NLL. Edwards was also formerly an assistant coach at the Division I level of men's lacrosse.

Edwards, a New Yorker, played college lacrosse at Canisius and was member of the Griffins squad that qualified for the 2012 NCAA Tournament. Edwards earned conference "Rookie of the Year" honors, and made his name commonplace on the MAAC's First-Team- an honor he recieved three times. Edwards was drafted to both the MLL and NLL and made his debuts for the Florida Launch and Buffalo Bandits in 2017.

Since making his first appearance for the US Indoor National team in 2018, Edwards has participated in a number of major events such as the 2019 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships. Edwards scored a goal for the Americans in their bronze medal game against England.

Having played multiple positions, Edwards brings a unique aspect of being able to relate and coach multiple positions. Edwards last coached at Canisius before moving over to Carroll.
