His 81 career goals were good enough for 19th all-time at McDaniel. McNichol captained the Green Terror during his senior campaign, while earning a bachelor's degree in Communications. Before McDaniel, McNichol starred locally for Mt. Lebanon High School.

After graduation McNichol has stayed involved in the local Pittsburgh lacrosse scene. He has coached the JV & Varsity lacrosse teams at Mt. Lebanon High School while working for Dick's Sporting Goods corporate offices.

McNichol will assist on the offensive side on the ball with the Cougars, while also running the team's substitution box and assisting in recruiting efforts.

"I'm really excited for Tim to begin working with our players. The success he had playing in the Centennial Conference will be very impactful while he works with our attack and midfield groups. His knowledge of the local lacrosse talent will also be instrumental on the recruiting front for us, he is going to be a great addition to the staff."
