Timothy McLam
Recruit Profile
Versatile athletic player with solid Lax IQ. Quick, fast, tough & take what the defense gives me with the dodge, feed and off ball play.
I have been playing lacrosse since the age of 5. I come from a lacrosse family; My dad was a 2 time All American LSM for Johns Hopkins University and won 2 national championships. He has also coached at all levels, college, high school, middle school & youth. My sister Emma a 2023, is committed to play lacrosse at University of Delaware and sister Kate a 2020 is an All-Region/Conference attacker at Franklin & Marshall College.
My elevated lacrosse IQ and versatility as a player is a result of me being around the game my whole life. While I started as an attacker in youth lacrosse, I spent the last 2 years as a face off specialist and midfielder. I have since gone back to attack where believe I can be highly effective as well. Being a varsity wrestler and playing years of football and now on the varsity golf team have all helped me be a better player both mentally and physically. After missing much of my spring 2021 season and all of my summer season due to a bad infection and perforated Appendix, I am confident I will bring my game to a high level and can't wait to prove it come this spring/summer! With a 4.0 GPA, I am also looking to challenge myself academically at the next level as well!

Tim is a jack of all trades. He has become a reliable ball carrier, especially behind the cage and always finds a way to at least get a step on his defender to get the defense moving. He is very technically sound, almost old school with his stick work and plays at a high pace with his eyes always up. He is one individual that I know I can trust on a wing, behind the cage, in the middle of the field and even at the faceoff X. Timmy is an attackman right now, but I can definitely see him as an inverting / low wing initiating, midfielder at the next level.
