Marshall, a 2007 Dickinson College graduate, is the fourth head coach in program history.

The Baltimore native came to Shenandoah after serving for two seasons as the defensive coordinator at his alma mater.

Marshall helped the Red Devils to a 33-5 record in those two years, including an 18-1 mark in 2013.

DC was ranked as high as No. 2 in the nation in 2013 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals for the second time in three seasons.

Marshall headed up a defensive unit that allowed less than eight goals per game in both 2012 and 2013 with the 2012 squad finishing in the nation's Top 25 in both scoring defense and man-down defense.

Dickinson grabbed five of a possible eight first team All-Centennial Conference defensive selections during Marshall's two seasons heading up the defense with long stick midfielder Brandon Palladino earning 2013 Player of the Year accolades.

Palladino was one of five All-Americans that Marshall mentored last season and he capped his season by being named DIII National Player of the Year.

Prior to his time in Carlisle, Marshall was an assistant coach for one year at Skidmore (N.Y.) College and for three seasons at the University of Scranton.

In his third year at Scranton, he served as the Royals interim head coach for the 2010 season. The Royals were 6-9 that season.

In 2011, he was part of a staff at Skidmore that earned Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year honors.

As a player at Dickinson, he was a three-year starter at close defense before earning his B.A. in 2007. He completed work on his Master's in Sports Management at Lasell College in December 2014.
