He is a US Lacrosse Level 2 certified coach and was the 2016 Northwest Oregon Conference High School Coach-of-the-Year at Liberty High School in Hillsboro. With the college club season canceled in 2021, Tom served as Interim Head Coach for Lincoln High School in Portland and guided the team through many pandemic challenges to a 10-1 record. Tom’s real job is serving as Special Operations Division Chief for the City of Vancouver Fire Department in Washington State.
