Profile
Trevor Craven rejoined the Saints staff in 2017 as the second Head Coach in Men's Lacrosse program history following a one-year stint at Becker College.

Prior to coaching the Hawks, Craven served as an Assistant Coach at Emmanuel from 2010 through 2016.

In his first year as Head Coach of the Saints, Craven led the squad to GNAC postseason play and coached a pair of GNAC All-Conference players as well as a pair of NEILA Senior All-Star selections.

Coach Craven and former Head Coach and current Director of Athletics & Recreation Brendan McWilliams helped build Emmanuel's new varsity lacrosse program from the ground up. The coaching duo had the team ready to compete in their inaugural season in the spring of 2012, winning their first conference playoff game in 2013 before rattling off 33 consecutive Great Northeast Athletic Conference wins from 2014 through 2016 to capture three consecutive GNAC championships with berths to the 2014, '15 and '16 NCAA tournament in tow.

Prior to signing on with the Saints, Coach Craven was an assistant coach at UMass Boston, where he helped lead the 2006 Beacons to the Little East Conference Semifinals and to the ECAC Tournament Semifinals. Coach Craven also coached at the high school level. In 2003, as an assistant coach at Cohasset High School, he helped lead his program to the semifinals of the MIAA Division III Tournament.

Craven did his undergraduate work at the University of Massachusetts-Boston, where he majored in American Studies and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2006. During his lacrosse playing days, Craven was a four-year starter and two-time team captain at UMass Boston, playing both defense and midfield. Craven set the Beacon program-record for career games played. During his four years at UMB (2002-2005), Craven's teams made Little East Conference playoffs each year, including three conference semi-final appearances. His senior year team made a trip to the ECAC semifinals and Craven received UMass Boston's William J. Puerto Award, which is to a member of the senior class for their leadership and dedication to UMass Boston Athletics.

Craven was a starter and senior captain at Weymouth High School, class of 2001. During his high school years, Craven played for the local lacrosse legend, Tony Manzelli. McWilliams stated, "Coach Craven was lucky enough to have played for a hall of fame lacrosse coach in the late Coach Manzelli at Weymouth. I am hoping he can help bring to our program at Emmanuel, the excitement, passion, and dedication to the game for which Coach Manzelli was known."
