Hi, my name is Tyler J Ahlvers, I am a student-athlete at Lakeville North High School graduating in 2023. There are so many things that make lacrosse the sport that I love but the most important reason is the ability to change the game in an instant. By making a huge save or a smart clear I can change the course of a game.

I would not only be a good student in the classroom, but I would also be a great player on the field. I am loud with great communication. I am a quick learner and always looking to learn better and faster plays. I am always looking towards the next level of play, wanting to reach higher goals and standards I set for myself, short-term and long-term. Getting to see higher-level shots and players is always something I will be eager to see.

College means that I can lay an amazing base for my future in law. I want to study political science and business administration to become a corporate lawyer. College means that I have an opportunity to have experiences and knowledge to go on and what I want to do with life and become a better person.

When I compare myself to some of the other goalies that I have played with and against, I feel I have a stronger drive and competitiveness for this sport. I love to compete and challenge myself at a higher level. Having the drive and will to compete against players and coaches from different backgrounds of lacrosse and different styles across the board is in my opinion essential to have in your mindset going into a college team.
