Tyler Olsen
Recruit Profile
Do it all midfielder and multi-sport athlete who consistently makes plays all over the field. Unique strong LAX IQ player who excels at dodging and shooting. Enjoys the hustle!
I have been playing lacrosse since first grade. I am a goal oriented multi sport athlete that thrives in challenging situations and pushes himself to do my very best in my athletics. As well as lacrosse, I am a experienced runner, running both track and cross country where I excel at the mile and 800m and currently hold 2 Colorado state records. I started running cross country as a freshman to support my lacrosse playing and found myself, by season end, on Varsity and the State District Championship team. My High school team recently won the 5A State Championship in 2021. For lacrosse, I am honored to be invited to Maverik Showtime in 2021, 2020 and in 2019 where I was an All Star at Midfield in the camp culminating All Star game. I am the only Colorado lacrosse player to win the World Series of Youth Lacrosse First Team All World Honor in 2018, an honor I hold in high regard. I was excited to be a on my High School Varsity Lacrosse team as a Freshman this year. It is an honor to represent my school and community through lacrosse and cross country. I support the Colorado lacrosse community by being a partner athlete at Colorado Unified Lacrosse and help share my sport with disabled youth. I recently became a US Lacrosse Certified Referee and ref youth lacrosse games in my spare time. I describe myself as a smart two-way midfielder with exceptional speed and stick skills who is a confident leader and unselfish teammate. I thrive in tough environments and seek out opportunities to grow my understanding and ability in the game. I enjoy working out and lifting weights and you can regularly find me shooting on my high school nets for extra practice.

Endorsements
Geof Weisenborn
Tyler is a very athletic midfielder, who contributes on both ends of the field. He is at his best in transition where he gets to use his speed, vision, and IQ. He is a dangerous scoring threat and a D-I level talent. Coach Weisenborn (True 23 Premier & 23 National)
Devin Cruz
Tyler is smooth, fast and smart player; A dodging midfielder who go right & left had amazing vision on the run finding open players. A strong candidate to contribute at the division 1 level.
Joe Edell
Tyler Olsen is a highly skilled, smart and super athletic midfielder. He shoots the ball with velocity and accuracy both righty and lefty. He is one of the best midfielders in the country, he is clearly a top 25 DI prospect. Coach Joe Edell
