I have always loved playing competitive sports. I started playing soccer, tennis and softball in pre-school and lacrosse in 4th grade. After my first season of club lacrosse, it quickly became my favorite sport and I set my goal to play in college. I also love skiing and am a certified scuba diver. I work hard on the field and off the field so I can continue to improve. During my freshman year, I played both field hockey and varsity lacrosse and my high school lacrosse team won three championships that year. My sophomore year I joined Varsity Indoor Track and ran the 800m. I take pride in my drive and commitment to always hustle and am very comfortable with both hands. When I am not playing lacrosse I am giving lessons to younger girls in my town. I love teaching elementary school girls the fundamentals and passing on to them my love for the game. Academically, I take the hardest course load I possibly can including Precalculus as a sophomore. I have received high honors every term. After a long application process I was chosen to be a Hutchins Scholar which recognizes and honors the top 12 students who have demonstrated exemplary work in science as well as a great passion for the subject as a whole and a desire to pursue scientific research. This program includes a 7-week internship during the summer of 2021. I have such an immense love and enjoyment of lacrosse and can play for hours and days on end and never get tired of it. I have been that way since elementary school and the passion has never waned.
