Profile
I have been involved in lacrosse for over 35 years and work extremely hard at helping athletes reach their full potential; on and off the field!

Vic Goeller joins Wells College as its women's head lacrosse coach staff after spending 20 years as a head high school lacrosse coach.

He spent five seasons as the head coach at Patuxent High School in Calvert County. He successfully lead a program that finished 2-12 in 2000, to back-to-back undefeated SMAC Championships in 2003 and 2004.

While at Patuxent, Goeller was named US Lacrosse Man of the Year in 2002 and US Lacrosse Coach of the Year in 2003 and 2004. He was also the SMAC Coach of the Year in 2002, 2003 and 2004 and Calvert County Coach of the Year in 2003 and 2004. He was also the Washington Post All-Extra Coach of the Year in 2004.

In 2007, he took over a struggling Paul VI Catholic program that finished 3-12 in 2006. In his first season, the Panthers improved to 8-7 in the very competitive Washington Catholic Athletic Conference. In 2008, the team finished 12-7 and made the Virginia State Playoffs for the first time in school history, and the team has continued to make the state playoffs every year since. Goeller was the WCAC Coach of the Year in 2009. While at Paul VI, 28 of his former players went on to play DI lacrosse.

In 2013, he joined the McDaniel College coaching staff starting off as the goalie coach and finishing as its Defensive Coordinator.

Goeller and his family moved to Central New York in 2018 and has been on the Wells Staff since 2019.
