I've been playing lacrosse and ice hockey for the past 8 years. I travel an hour each way every day to go to Don Bosco Prep. I do it because it gives me the best opportunities in the classroom, and on the field. Taking Honors American Literature, and playing teams in lacrosse like IMG and The Hun School, are examples of these opportunities. I started on the freshman team last year, and made varsity this year. I was on first team man up, and contributed at both attack and middie. The statistic that means the most to me is my team wins. Losing to Delbarton in the second round of states this year taught me what my team and I need to do to get to the finals. I volunteered with City Lax the past 2 years in the Bronx with my team mates, and I volunteer coach youth lacrosse in my town. I also enjoy the outdoors going to our family property in the Adirondack's, and summer vacations with my family to the Dominican Republic.
