William (Ford) Collins
Recruit Profile
Versatile and coachable, team player with strong Lax IQ - tenacious, disciplined and aggressive multi-sport athlete. I love to make plays, move the ball and score.
I have played lacrosse since first grade, playing up with my older brother's team, eventually becoming a leader of my own team later in my recreational lacrosse career. I have always exceled in sports, participating in kids triathlons and other races along with playing sports like swimming and wrestling. My freshman year of high school I lettered in three sports, water polo, swimming, and lacrosse. I have made Dean's list for my academic achievements every semester. The subjects I enjoy the most are Biology, English, and History. I am a tour guide for my school, introducing new students to the campus and earned the position of Ropes Course Instructor, which is a leadership position at the Lawrenceville School. I received a summer internship at my school's farm, which was cancelled due to the pandemic, but I did a summer project in lieu of this internship.

Murf Butler
Ford brings an intensity and edge to every minute he spends on the field. This combined with the hunger he shows to expand an already high lacrosse IQ make him an absolute pleasure to work with. He will always give his all, and never accepts less than his best.

Don Green
Ford is an intelligent/skilled middie who does a little bit of everything. This makes him a strong two-way player. He can play well in settled 6v6 situations as well as in transition making him even more versitle on the offensive end of the field. A hard worker/great person!

G Cole
I coached Ford for 5 yrs in local youth program. He was our best player--excellent skills, tough, physical, competitive. Sees the field, dodges hard going to goal, loves unsettled play and is a student of the game, always watching and asking questions. 3-sport athlete but lax is his game.
