I started to play lacrosse in 3rd grade. i played for my local rec team and in 5th grade joined my current club team (belles lacrosse club). I played attack for my high school team as a freshman and averaged about 2 goals a game last season. I also swung for the JV and varsity soccer team as goalie. During my travel season i started every game averaging about 3.5 goals and was named tournament mvp for 2 tournaments. I am very comfortable shooting with both hands, crease rolling, dodging, redefending, and more. Besides playing lacrosse i also am a certified US lacrosse referee, coach a 6/7th grade basketball team, take part and lead many clubs at Unionville High School, am a published poet, and volunteer with handicapped kids during
the summer.

Amanda is a very strong attacker with excellent power who has proven herself unstoppable around the crease. Her proficiency with her right and left hand, ability to dodge defenders and find an open teammate, and her tenacious re-defending make her a force on the field. She's a great team player.
