Ethan Pavlet
Recruit Profile
Big, strong and smart on the field and in the classroom.
I started playing lacrosse in 2nd grade when I was 8, and it quickly became my favorite sport, edging out over basketball. I picked up a pole and began playing defense in 4th grade, and continue to play this as my primary position. I feel that my strength in defense is off-ball, being able to take up space and cover lanes with my size and length. However, I started playing attack freshman year for my high school team, and this year totaled 85 points with 57 G and 28 A. I was also named a US Lacrosse Academic All American and Team MVP this year. I enjoy the creativity in finishing and feeding around the goal in attack, skills that I take time to sharpen at home and in box lacrosse. I also feel that playing attack has aided my mindset as a defenseman by helping understand how offenses flow. Outside of lacrosse, I continue to play basketball in high school as my other sport, and I play as my team's center. I take pride in my work in the classroom and strive to maintain great grades. I am interested in engineering as a career, especially in developing new environmentally safe technologies, like eco-friendly cars and renewable energies. I am part of my school's ecology club and intern at the Naval Postgraduate School Rocket Propulsion Laboratory. I plan on volunteering at my local SPCA once I turn 18.

Big, athletic and moves well for his size. Very tough and very hard worker. His defensive abilities stand out and are made more impressive given his offensive accumen.
Greg Weigel
Great size, versatility, and hands. Could be a college attackmen or defensemen. Plays angles off ball really well resulting in lots of picked off passes. Dangerous in transition because of offensive skills...scored over 80 points in Junior season.

Ethan is a VERY smart player. Easy to coach; big, strong and tough. Communicates well on the defensive side of the field. Always asks the right questions and constantly looking to grow as a player.
