Coach Parker is entering his 22nd year of coaching and his 12th season with the Bulldogs.

He began his playing career as a midfielder for Good Counsel High School. In college, he played for NCAA Division I Mount Saint Mary’s University where he was a standout short-stick defensive midfielder and long-stick midfielder for the Mountaineers.

Parker began his coaching career at Good Counsel. During his six seasons as an assistant coach, he helped produce the school's first-ever All-American lacrosse player, as well as a number of All-Conference and All-County players.

In 2005 he was hired as the head coach of the HTHC Hamburg Warriors B team, in Hamburg, Germany. The team was 2-5 when he took over and ended the season 7-7, with his only two losses against the Warriors A team and NDLL runner up Bielefeld Hawks. In the fall of 2005, Coach Parker was promoted to the Head coach of the A team and in two seasons recorded a 20-3 record, including two trips to the German Championship.

Coach Parker became the Danish National Team coach in 2007. He led the team in the 2008 European Championships in Laiti, Finland. Coach Parker spent many weekends in Copenhagen getting the Danes ready for the Championship. After the Championships, the Danish Lacrosse Federation requested Coach Parker to again lead the team for the 2010 World Cup in Manchester, England.

Parker returned to the states in 2008 and became an assistant coach for NCAA Division III Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. In 2009, Coach Parker was promoted to Associate Head Coach in charge of the offense. The following summer he took the position of Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Tennessee Wesleyan University.

In 2016, Coach Parker was elected as the NAIA Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association President. He has played a significant role in growing lacrosse in the NAIA and is very excited about the future of NAIA lacrosse.

Coach Parker lives in Athens, Tennessee with his wife Ashley and their two sons Max and Sean.
