Lula Masters
Recruit Profile
Unselfish team player, very tough, quick to ball, multi-sport athlete, very coachable, and high LAX IQ
I began HS at Urbana High School in Maryland, and as a freshman there, I made the Varsity teams for Lacrosse, Cross Country, and Indoor Track & Field. For XC and Indoor T&F, I was able to win awards (All-County Cross Country First Team Selection) and notable finishes and placements at the County and State levels helping my teams win the County and State Championships. Then the national COVID19 pandemic brought my Varsity Lacrosse season to a halt after only one scrimmage game.
Although it was very disappointing to not get to play my Varsity season with my Urbana High School as a freshman, I also used the time for self-improvement by participating in virtual clinics, maintaining weekly practices independently, and volunteered as a Huddle Leader with the lacrosse program at FCA PowerCamp with Frederick FCA.
Then we moved from Maryland to Alpharetta, GA in December 2020. So, I am now attending Alpharetta High School (Class of 2023) where we just finished our Varsity Lacrosse season in the 1st round of state playoffs, and I was recognized as the team Defensive Player MVP. Being at Alpharetta has given me the opportunity to play against some of the best girls lacrosse programs in Georgia competing against state champion high school teams like Milton, Westminster, and Roswell. I also played on the inaugural Varsity Women's Flag Football team earning the Offensive MVP.
While living in Maryland, I played for the Renegades 2023 club team. Then for Georgia Outlaws 2023 after moving back, and now, I am playing my last summer club season with Eaglestix 2023 Grey team. I was also honored to be selected to play for Team Georgia in the National Tournament both in 2021 and 2022.
Despite the difficulties with the stress and disruptions from the pandemic, virtual school, and moving, I am proud that I was able to remain diligent with my educational goals and maintaining a 4.0 GPA (weighted) through all three years of high school, so far.

Lula is a phenomenal lacrosse player. Her strength is in the middle third and the defensive end. She excels at draw control and transition, both the clear and ride. She’s also a lockdown defender. She is a great cutter on the offensive end and dodges well. Lula is coachable, has a high LAX IQ, and is a great teammate. Any program would be lucky to have her. Lula is the type of player you want on your team.
Jenna Stover
Lula is the perfect definition of a true middie. She is quick off the circle, makes huge plays between the 30s, extremely strong defensively and shifty on attack. Lula has an infectious energy with an awesome next play mentality. Overall incredible athlete with a work ethic and attitude that bumps her to be a top-level athlete.
Brandon Allen
Extremely athletic with a quick first step. An absolute monster in the midfield (both on the clear and the ride). She can change a team without touching the ball at times. Selfless- putting her teammates above self. Love to compete- whether in games or practice. Every team needs a Lula.
Ann Lewis
Lula is an incredible athlete who meshes well with any team she is on, through her coach ability, drive and effort. She is a talented player who sees the field well and gives 100% everytime. She makes those around her better and her shifty, quick speed makes her fun to watch and difficult to defend.
Dan MacDonald
I had the pleasure of coaching Lula for just over a year with our Renegades 2023 team located in Frederick Maryland. Lula is a dynamic midfielder who has a terrific first step and battles hard for every 50/50 GB. Lula is a terrific athlete with great speed and stick skills and excels between the 30's. She is a team first type of player who her teammates loved and enjoyed playing with. She never takes a drill off in practice and is extremely receptive to coaching and learning the game. Lula can play anywhere on the field which makes her such a valuable asset to any team.
Elle Race
Lula is one of the hardest working and most coachable players I have ever coached. On top of having great stick skills, she can run all day long and can play any position. She leads by example always coming to practice with a positive attitude and always giving 100%. She is an AWESOME teammate - always supporting and encouraging her teammates, especially when things aren’t going their way. Any coach would be lucky to have her as a part of their program!
