Clare Roussey
Recruit Profile
Hard working, natural team leader with exceptional offensive instincts and field vision. Multi-sport athlete who loves to compete.
Participating in a variety of sports and playing in multiple positions since I was 6, I've been a contributor on several championship teams. In 2018, I made varsity lacrosse as a freshman, starting in all 17 games on attack, and finished the season as the 4th leading scorer with 24 points. After missing my sophomore year due to the pandemic, I went on to become a 2-time Team Captain in 2021 and 2022, and finished my high school career with 150 points (83 goals, 67 assists). In my final 2022 season I earned 1st Team All-Conference and All-County honors, was named Athlete of the Week, won the Cranford Booster Club and Cranford Lacrosse Club Scholarships and ended up 3rd in program history for assists. I graduated with a 3.4 GPA and am planning to major in Business with an English minor. During high school I was also a soccer goalie, basketball player, swimmer, member of the Global Affairs Cohort Club, and Altar Server in my church. Currently, I'm an Assistant Coach with BBL (Building Blocks Lacrosse) and volunteer my time at both lacrosse and soccer youth clinics in town.

I coached Clare on her T3 Elite team (Summer 2019). Clare was a leader on the field, coachable and always striving to improve. Offensively she has good vision and good shot placement.

Quick movements, smart play with and without the ball, great field vision describe Clare. Coachable and a leader on the field. I coached Clare for 4 days at NLC and she quickly became a leader on the team. Precise stick work due to her work ethic.
Christina Ferrara
I worked with Clare while playing rec lacrosse - her skills, speed, and willingness to learn set her a part from every other player on the field. Clare brings strength, speed, and great stick skills to the field. She is a very coachable player and is eager to learn.
