Recruit Profile
Athletic midfielder with speed, tenacity - raises level of play to challenge and can turn around/dominate a game
I am the youngest of five children and have a twin sister. I started playing recreational lacrosse when I was 6, and began playing for T3 Elite when I was 12. I have always played midfield, often take the draw, and love being engaged in every part of the game -- draw, defense, and offense. I am always striving to get better and recently made the T3 Elite 2020 North Black team. On defense, I am improving on my 1 v 1 coverage and love to intercept a pass or score a goal on a re-defend. Offensively, I love to work the net and am comfortable shooting with both my right and left.
I made the varsity team as a Freshman at Voorhees High School and have started (and played almost every minute of) every game since my freshman year. As a freshman I was an All-Conference Honorable Mention, and Sophomore year I was honored to be named First-Team All Conference. In addition to lacrosse, I play basketball at Voorhees. I also work out several times a week doing speed and strength training and have worked out at the Parisi School.
I love science and math and am considering a major in business or economics. I take a challenging academic schedule with honors classes and this year I am taking AP Chemistry. I have made my school's Honor Roll every semester except the one that I had a concussion -- and even then I just missed it!
I love (love!) going to the beach, so I joined the Ocean Conservation Club at school where we teach our fellow students about the importance of the ocean to our ecosystem. I ran a bake sale fundraiser that raised $150. Last year I was the Historian and this year I am Vice President (with my sister) and we will be planning more educational and fundraising activities. I also volunteer at my church teaching religious education. I have had kindergartners, first, second, and third graders through the years.
