Katie Flynn
Recruit Profile
coachable, aggressive, team player, elevated lax IQ, hard re-defender, not afraid to drive 1v1
I started playing lacrosse in 2009 when I was seven years old. I began playing club for T3 Elite in 2013 where I still play now. As a freshman I earned a varsity starting position on attack for Freedom High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. During my freshman season I scored 53 goals and assisted 15, and also earned Honorable Mention for Lehigh Valley Live Player of The Week. My sophomore season I reached the 100 goal milestone for varsity and finished that season with 83 goals and 23 assists, I was second in District 11 for goals scored. I was also named to the East Penn Conference First Team for attack, Morning Call First Team, Freedom High School offensive MVP, and named Player of The Week once for the season. I made the Brine National 2020 East Team in 2017 where I was then selected to the Brine All-Star Team. I also played Varsity Soccer since my freshman year. On the lacrosse field I believe I can finish and feed strongly with both hands, as well as be a strong re-defender. I am hard working and dedicated on the field and in the classroom.
I am taking American Sign Language and find it could be helpful in my career path of Childhood Education by allowing me to communicate with others who are hearing impaired. I have achieved Honor Roll for academics. I have over 104 hours of community service doing different things such as volunteer coaching for the local recreational youth lacrosse league and helping maintain the local youth baseball fields.
