I started playing lacrosse when I was 12, after retiring from 8 years of competitive gymnastics, where I was a 5 time Pennsylvania State Champion. In 7th and 8th grade, I was a team captain and the leading scorer. I have strong endurance and speed. I am also very good with taking 8 meter shots and playing strong, aggressive defense. When taking the draw, I am able to control the ball and send it to myself or my teammates. I earned the Varsity E Award in my freshman and sophomore year. Here’s what my coach said about me throughout the summer- “I am so impressed with your growth over the past six months. Your confidence, work ethic, and coachability are going to take you places! This weekend you did great finishing with 8 points, a ton of draw controls, smart plays defensively and a TON of hustle; you definitely stood out. I see you as a true midfielder!...” "You have excelled in the offensive end a lot! As a midfielder I see your wheels turning in transition and looking to see what the next play should be. Your decision making skills have improved and this past weekend your defense was on fire..." I play on the varsity field hockey team and spend time lifting at the gym.
As a junior, I will be taking AP Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and AP World History, as well as all honors classes otherwise. As a sophomore, I took AP US History and AP Computer Science, as well as all honors classes otherwise. I took AP Computer Science Principles as a freshman. My GPA is 100.336 and my class rank is 35 out of 756.
I am in National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Student Council. As part of these organizations, I help to organize the EAHS Day Spirit Week assembly and the Decorating Committee for our Thanksgiving Football Game. I am also a part of the EAHS Costume Crew for the spring musical. I volunteer at Special Olympics, doing things such as judging routines at the Gymnastics events and helping the kids perform at the Track and Field events. I am a youth official and I officiate elementary/middle school field hockey and lacrosse games. I am a high school board member for Angel 34, an organization that helps improve the lives of children with pediatric cancer. I am a shift manager at Owowcow Creamery.
