Hired in December of 2021, Patrick Wallace joins the Amherst College Men’s Lacrosse program as the goalie coach and face-off unit coordinator.

Prior to coming to Amherst College, Wallace served as an assistant coach for the University of New Hampshire Men’s Lacrosse team during the fall of 2021. In addition to his responsibilities with Amherst College, Wallace also serves as a goalie coach, team coach, and clinic director for a New England area youth and high school club lacrosse team. Over the span of his seven year coaching career, Wallace has had the pleasure of working with several different club organizations as a coach and clinic director.

From 2016-2021, Wallace remained a very active member of Arlington Youth Lacrosse in Arlington, MA. During that time, Wallace served as a U-15 team coach, goalie coach, and was an active member of the advisory board.

From 2016 to 2018, Wallace served as an Assistant Coach and Academic Mentor for Harlem Lacrosse-Boston. In that time, Wallace helped successfully launch 5 middle school programs at three different Boston Public Schools. Throughout those two years, Wallace helped provide daily study halls and lacrosse practices for dozens of students.

In 2018, Wallace served as the Head Coach of the Varsity Boys Lacrosse team for the Brimmer and May School in Chestnut Hill, MA. During his tenure, one of Coach Wallace’s players became the first in program history to commit to an NCAA program.

Wallace graduated from Boston College in 2020 with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in History and will graduate from Endicott College with a Master’s in Sports Leadership in the spring of 2023.
