My name Is Nathaniel Ricciuti and I live in Beverly, Massachusetts. I have played lacrosse since the first grade and I have had the goal of playing lacrosse at the college level since that time. I strive to be a good teammate, person and leader on my teams and I play any role that my coaches ask of me to the best of my ability. I have played attack for the last several years and I have specialized in inside or around the crease feeding and shooting. However, I have played every position on the field so I have developed a good lacrosse IQ because I have tried to remain versatile and play were the team needs me. I am a coachable athlete who strives to build a positive team environment. I am always looking to learn new information or different perspectives from coaches or my fellow players to improve my own ability. I am also a hockey goalie and this makes me a better attack in lacrosse because I recognize where to be and how to move to score goals, because in hockey I am trying to prevent players from scoring. The combination of these two sports and positions really has helped me understand shooting angles and it has improved my overall game in both sports. I plan on becoming an associate official with EMLOA as soon as I am eligible. I believe that working as a lacrosse official will also help be obtain a different perspective and will help me improve. I have volunteered to coach the local little scoopers program in the past and I will continue to assist with this program to try to inspire the next generation of lacrosse athletes. My short-term plan is to focus on practicing lacrosse daily and studying hard in my academic courses to become an outstanding student athlete. I want to find a college program where I fit in as a player and a person. I also plan on studying business or law so I hope to attend a college or university that has excellent programs in these majors.
