Welcome to Long Island Pride Lacrosse. Lacrosse on Long Island has a huge following, which plays an important role to many athletes. The derivation of our name, “The Pride," comes from the history that Long Island has within the sport of Lacrosse. Long Island has always been the main geographic area for the sport. Colleges have recruited Long Island Lacrosse players to form the backbone of their team because these players have not been afraid to get down and dirty, or to do what is necessary to be successful. Those who are part of the Pride believe that Long Island Lacrosse is the best and will work to maintain that status. We stand firmly with our philosophy of player development and the progression in learning and appreciating the game as a player and spectator. Aside from the skills aspect, we feel the history and spirit of the GAME needs to be passed on.
