MONTCLAIR HIGH SCHOOL LACROSSE accepts diversity and respects differences. We encourage and reward values such as determination, persistence, selflessness, trust, and good teammanship. Fundamentals of the game are the focus of coaches and practices (“touches”) are the cornerstone of our success. Our belief is that winning is ultimately the consequence of developing these attributes and a result of everyone placing the team and program ahead of any individual goals. Therefore, winning is not the primary focus although we understand that it is the best measure of our success in creating this unique environment. Our motto is summed up in one simple word: Together. If everyone works for each other, competes for each other, and strives to contribute to the team, then we are “together”.
