Scorpions USA
Description
Founded in 2016 by Eric Fisher and Marty Stadelmaier, the Colorado Scorpions (originally SOJO Scorpions) began as a recreational lacrosse team seeking to extend their spring season into local summer tournaments. Fast forward a few years and what started as a few boys and coaches looking for summer fun, the Colorado Scorpions has evolved into a year-round, highly competitive lacrosse club of athletes from Boulder Valley and the Denver Metro area to Castle Rock and Colorado Springs.
The team’s philosophy is focused on developing a love for the game, demonstrating great sportsmanship, and growth through tournament play. The coaches lead with an unwavering commitment to improving the fundamental skills and game knowledge for each player while maximizing every player’s contribution to the overall team. Each athlete is selected not only for their skills on the field, but for their positive attitude, leadership, and ability to work as a selfless member of a unified team. The coaches and players desire to accomplish great success through discipline and hard work.
The Colorado Scorpions play in lacrosse tournaments across the country and competed in the 2019 World Series of Youth Lacrosse in Denver, Colorado.
