Adam Lanehart, '10, is back for his second stint with the WestConn Men's Lacrosse program and will serve as the Offensive Coordinator and recruiting coordinator

A native of Redding, Conn., Lanehart played four seasons for WestConn and earned a bachelor's degree in Justice and Law Administration.

Lanehart started his coaching career with WestConn in 2011 as an Assistant Offensive Coach and Recruiting Coordinator, where he spent two seasons under Jason Ouellet.

He then took over the Offensive Coordinator position for the Joel Barlow High School Lacrosse program in his hometown where he spent the next 10 years. Lanehart helped Barlow to two State Championships and three Conference Championships during his tenure with the Falcons. In 2013, he was name USLacrosse and Class-S Assistant Coach of the Year.

During his playing career at WestConn, Lanehart was named LEC Rookie of the Year (2007), ECAC All-New England (2008) and was a three-time All-Little East Conference player. In 2008, Lanehart helped lead WestConn to an LEC Championship and their first NCAA Tournament appearance in school history. Lanehart captained the team from 2009-2010. He graduated as the program's all-time leader in goals (169) and points (211).

Lanehart currently resides in Redding, Conn. with his wife Megan and son Xander.
