I started playing lacrosse when I was really young with my older brothers. With that being said, I was taught boys lacrosse long before girls and think it is the reason why I am able to play with such physicality and competitiveness. I was one of two freshman to make my high school varsity team as we went into that season ranked as 12th in the country. This last season, I am proud to say that I was a part of this same team and helped contribute to us making it to 5th in the country at one point. Being on this team for two years now has been able to push me to my limits as I would play against some of the best lacrosse players in the country day in and day out. It has shown me where I want myself to end up and now that I am aware of where I want to be, I am determined to get there. Being a midfielder I am very comfortable playing both attack and defense. On the offensive side I am able to read the play well and have the ability to get off feeds and successfully hit cutters. I also am able to see my lane and know when to take it, being able to finish with both my left and right hand. On the defensive side, it is my goal to keep up the talking with not only myself, but with the rest of my teammates as well. I also pride myself with my 1v1 defense and am able to do so using my quickness. Aside from lacrosse I have played soccer my entire life on both my town team and a highly competitive club team, as well as been involved with other activities involving art. I am an active member in my church’s youth group and attend church retreats. Academically, I have always been a high honors student throughout my whole career and next year I will be taking Honors English, Honors History, Honors Criminal Law, and AP Art History.
