Hey, Im Abigail Beattie and I play for Capital Lacrosse Club 2024 Blue. I'm fast moving and a quick paced goalie that is always moving around the field. I played at Stars Lacrosse for two years and before going to Stars, I played two years up for three years on Cardinal 2022. My last year at Cardinal we qualified for the U-14 US Lacrosse Nationals and advanced to the championship where we placed 2nd in the nation. For recruiting purposes I was no longer eligible to play for the 22's and I then went to the Stars Blue 24' team. Then last August of 2019, I was invited to play for FCA Lacrosse's national team in Lake Placid, NY and I have been invited back for the 2020 tournament. I've been named MVP goalie and player at multiple camps such as, the Naval Academy twice, Virginia Tech, and JMU and I recently made the All-Star Team at the NXT Showcase and Apex Fall Showcase.

I plan on swimming, playing field hockey and lacrosse next year in high school and I'm taking multiple honors and pre-AP classes. Im interested in studying architecture and design in high school and possibly major in college. I have a 4.0
average GPA and I was very active within my middle school, and Im a member of student council at Kettle Run High School. Im an ambassador for the organization Morgans Message, which helps raise awareness about student-athlete mental health. I volunteer at multiple places within my county such as the Fauquier Food Distribution, Salvation Army, and Coats for Kids.

I am very coachable and I have a strong work ethic that pushes me to be the best. I train extremely hard in the off-season for speed, strength, and conditioning. I communicate with my defenders, make quick decisions in and out of pressure, have fast hands and good stickwork. I'd say the best part of my game is the pinpoint accuracy on my clears and the ability to save shots under pressure!
