Adam DuPree began his tenure as an assistant coach for the AU men’s lacrosse team in 2006, serving primarily as the defensive coordinator.

DuPree has coached 11 Empire 8 All-Conference defensemen as well as one USILA All-American in Jake Spadoni '13.

As the defensive coordinator, DuPree aided AU to an Empire 8 second-best 129 goals allowed in 2018. Other highlights in 2018 include the Saxons finished sixth in the nation in caused turnovers per game (12.53), 11th ground balls per game (38.67) and 19th in clearing percentage (.873).

A native of Penn Yan, NY, DuPree was a teammate of AU head coach Jason Lockner at Corning Community College and also played at Herkimer Community College. DuPree was an assistant under Lockner for four years at Alfred State College, where he helped coach four junior college All-Americans.

DuPree has an associate's degrees in math and liberal arts from Corning Community College. He lives in Corning with wife Stella, their two sons and a daughter. His son, Patrick, is a sophomore defender for the Saxons.
