I started playing lacrosse at age 10 after many years of competitive soccer, gymnastics, and basketball. I was the starting goalie on the highest team in my travel soccer club, where I learned how to win in high-pressure situations. I switched to playing club lacrosse on Pride 2023 White in high school. I am the starting point guard for the basketball team at West Potomac High School. I was a starting left forward at leading scorer on the field hockey team in an undefeated season my freshman year. I work out 7 days a week, 3 days with a private trainer, lifting and on lacrosse skills. I worked all summer with a freshman attacker at UNC Chapel Hill, and have resumed now that she is home for winter break. I have always been a natural athlete but came late to lacrosse and I am determined to continue rising in skills and performance. I am a leader on all of my teams, both on an off the field. I am fast, have quick feet, excellent field vision, a strong Lax-IQ, allowing me to beat girls and create plays all over the field. I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA, taking all honors and two AP classes. I am an active member of 9 high school clubs, I'm on the board of one. I was one of a handful of sophomores selected for the Athletic Leadership Council. I am an ambassador for Reading Is Fundamental and collected over 1,600 books in November for children in need. Art is another passion of mine and I teach art classes to disabled and chronically ill children. I have been an assistant coach for youth soccer and lacrosse for the last four years, and recently started running lacrosse clinics for elementary school girls with two teammates.
