Addison Harmel
Recruit Profile
Coachable, aggressive, right handed midfielder, multi-sport athlete, amazing stick skills, strong lax IQ, determined, 7:00 minute mile
I have been playing lacrosse for 8 years and it has been a passion of mine ever since. This is my 6th year playing club lacrosse. I currently play for TLC gold. I have played mid-field during all of these years and currently still play mid-field and occasionally take the draw. I am a right handed played who is willing to use my left whenever necessary. I dodge frequently and cut to cage often but I am always looking to pass for the assist. I am always the center of our plays and the person working to create opportunities for shots from me and my teammates. I am frequently winning draws from the circle and from taking the draw. Strengths of mine are defending 8-meters, settling my team down to be able to work the ball around, and winning ground balls. During 8-meters I am always able to either check the players stick and cause a turnover, or able to slow the player down so they either make an easily savable shot or so my teammates can check their stick. I am a very coachable player who always has a positive and fun mindset but still works hard and does whatever my coaches need me to do. As a freshman I made Varsity lacrosse at my high school, Patterson mill. I started 8 out of 10 Varsity games on attack and frequently moved to play mid-field. Sophomore year, I played Varsity Lacrosse and Soccer. I was selected to the All-county lacrosse team after my sophomore season. Soccer is a sport I use to gain endurance for lacrosse. I play soccer for Baltimore Union, a large club based in Perry Hall, Maryland. I am on the 06 A team for Baltimore Union. I am also a very strong academic student. I have a 4.25 GPA. I have been apart of National Junior Honor society, I am apart of my schools Student Government association , I have won both the presidents award and principals award countless times throughout middle and high school, I have been nominated for my schools student of the month twice throughout my freshman year, and during my freshman year I took 2 honors classes. I was the HOBY ambassador for my school during my sophomore year. I hope to have a career in the medical field with either helping young athletes like myself or in pediatrics.
