I made the switch from a softball pitcher to lacrosse player in the 7th grade and have never looked back. I really love the game and I get just as much excitement out of an assist to my teammate or stonewalling an attacker as I do scoring a goal. I feel one of my strengths is my understanding of spacing and how to use it, allowing me to get open and also free up lanes for teammates. My freshman year I played at Battlefield HS on the JV squad before we moved to a new home that placed me in the Gainesville HS district. I really enjoyed being one of the first year players for Coach Hoeg at GHS, we took our bumps as a first year program but it will only make us better. My goal is to find a college program that will allow me to continue growing as a student-athlete and prepare me for life after lacrosse as I plan to major in nursing.
