As a highly motivated student athlete, my goal is to play collegiate lacrosse at a competitive level while majoring in finance at a prominent college.

I am someone who takes great pride in being recognized for my character, academic achievements, leadership abilities, and strength as an athlete. Acknowledgements and nominations such as Breakfast of Champions, Academic Excellence Award recipient, Co-Captain of last years lacrosse team, being the only freshman pulled up to varsity football in 2019, and one of only two sophomores pulled up to varsity lacrosse pre-season in 2020, motivate me to push myself to be the best student athlete I can possibly be. As an extremely dedicated year round athlete, I choose to supplement team practices with weight training at my local gym, running regularly to improve my speed and endurance, and running through sport specific drills in my backyard whenever possible.

Academically, I consistently challenge myself as well, and am recognized as a leader in the classroom. Growing up , I have always valued the importance of being a team player while continuing to develop my own personal skills, both on and off the field. I have been raised to show respect to others and to stay true to myself in every situation. Being a good person and making good decisions are things Ive always prioritized over fitting in with the crowd.

The year 2020 was a challenging one for everyone. For me, the pandemic put a temporary halt on my entire life. Although I adjusted quickly and even excelled at remote learning from home, it was such a letdown to have my entire freshman year of lacrosse canceled. I spent the long spring days outside practicing time and room shots, dodges, and shooting on the run, but I truly missed the game and my team. Ive always known I had a passion for lacrosse, but having it taken away for an entire season only made me more hungry to compete. I realized my true desire to play not only through out the remainder of high school but also at the collegiate level.
