I started playing lacrosse in the 1st grade with the primary position of attack. In the 4th grade, I transitioned to the goalie position. As a freshman, I started on Varsity and was a team captain. I made 216 saves (school record), led the team with 65 ground balls, and caused 31 turnovers by interceptions. As a Varsity starter my sophomore year, I was voted to be team captain again. Although our season was shortened due to COVID-19, with a team of new coaches we had a winning season with 5 wins 2 losses (both were high ranked state contenders). I was voted captain again my junior year and is on the verge of breaking the school's saves record, one year earlier than the current record holder.

As a student, I have a 3.7 GPA, taken 7 AP courses (plus 3 more next year), I have been a member of Beta Club (3 years), SGA (3 years, representative - 1 year), Student Ambassador (2 years - 2020 State champion, 2021 Regional Camps and State Runner-Up), Scholar Athlete (2 years), Junior Classical League (3 years), published co-author of 2 children's books, was invited to and spoke on a panel for multicultural counseling at Georgie State University with Dr. Jillian Whatley.

I am a vocal, coachable and disciplined leader. I have 11 years of lacrosse experience, 8 of which as a goalkeeper. I am a left handed goalie however, I can clear with both dominant (>50 yards) and nondominant hands (>40 yards). I pride myself on my ability to anticipate plays and react both strategically and quickly in pressure situations. I am comfortable coming out of goal when needed, whether it be for an interception, a ground ball or to aid the defense. I am so grateful for my connection I have with the defenders, our chemistry allows us to communicate well together both during play, and after, to access faults and plans of action in order to advance our skill level during the game without throwing blame or negative energy towards a player. My teammates are my family, some of whom I've known since the 4th grade, others just this season. I consider myself a hard-working, coachable, goalie who is always looking to improve on my game. I plan on studying Economics along with International Political Affairs.
