I am a tenacious, goal driven attacker who thrives on quick stick skills and rapid shots. I can drive to the goal with fast feet but also love the finesse of the two man game. I started playing lacrosse at age 7 and began playing club in fourth grade. I have consistently been one of the top scorers on my team and I am able to use both of my hands to take the best possible shot. I am aggressive on re-defense and enjoy trying to get the ball back from the other team's defense. In the past year, my team has won both the Bucknell Bison Brawl and the Johns Hopkins Queen of the Turf Tournaments, largely due to our quick and tight offense. For the summer and fall 2019 tournament seasons, I combined for 51 points with 41 goals (team leader) and 10 assists. As much as I love lacrosse, I am equally passionate about my education. I currently have a 4.21 weighted GPA and a 4.0 unweighted GPA. Since starting at Maryvale Preparatory School in ninth grade, I have won 4 Outstanding Awards for having the highest grade in the school (Honors Spanish I and II, Honors Algebra II and Advanced Placement European History). I also received an Exemplary Award for Honors Geometry. For my junior year, I will be enrolled in 3 AP classes (Chemistry, English, and United States History) and 3 Honors classes (Precalculus, Anatomy and Physiology, and Spanish III). Last fall, I was selected and participated in the Perry Outreach Program at Johns Hopkins Hospital for orthopaedic surgery and engineering and I was also recently selected to the Johns Hopkins Emergency Room Volunteer Program. I am a member of Maryvale's Championship Varsity Soccer and Indoor Track and Field teams. At the IAAM Indoor Track Championships in January, I placed second in Pole Vault and have a personal record of 8 feet. I also like to run and have competed in the Annapolis 10 Miler and Charles Street 12 Mile races. I plan to study biology in college and want to attend medical school where I hope to specialize in orthopaedics.
