Alexa is an excellent 2 way midfielder w excellent hands (she catches, passes and shoots w accuracy left and right), superb stamina, and a fearlessness to play in traffic. She is consistently the hardest worker at practices and games. She is someone who gets better every day. She has a high IQ and can catch, dodge and finish deftly in traffic. She plays the team game very well on the draw the circle with the ability to read the situation and box out or pursue the ball appropriately. She is a very good 1v1 defender and is getting better every day jelling w our other defenders in team defense. At this moment she is probably the most highly skilled lacrosse player on our team - she is great to coach, is an outstanding student, and on whatever team and coach she lands with for college, she w be a huge asset to her team in whatever she is asked to do. I highly recommend her without hesitation. Pls contact me if you would like more information.

Alexa is a "Do It All" midfielder for the Wappingers Girls lacrosse team. She was the 2nd leading goal scorer (44 in 16 games) and the team leader in assists (26). Offensively, she is able to dodge, shoot, and feed teammates with either hand. She plays the game with her eyes up, constantly looking for open teammates or open space to attack the goal. When she is off ball, Alexa is active and times her cuts very well to get open and high percentage shots. She can score with or without the ball. Alexa has a very high lacrosse IQ and is able to learn any offense that is installed quickly and is able to fit her game to match what the roles require for that offense. Defensively and in the midfield, her motor never stops. She is constantly putting pressure on offensive players and has well timed checks, with minimal fouls. In transition, she can get the ball off the ground and forward as good as anyone, then follows that with a max effort sprint to the goal to put pressure on the transition defense.
