Alexandra Larrabee
Recruit Profile
I am a multi sport athlete which makes me gritty and aggressive. I can read the field well and have good IQ and smart decisions for me and my teammates.
Growing up with two brothers and in athletic family meant I started playing sports right away. I have always been pushed around by my all state tight end older brother which gave me grit from a young age. With a sport background when I picked up a lacrosse stick it all came naturally. Although, I have always wanted to be the best at everything I do whether that be sports, academics, or anything else which means a lot of backyard lacrosse. I was a freshman varsity starter in both field hockey and basketball. What makes me such a strong player is my aggression whether on lock down defense, or hard cuts and dodges to goal. I bring my sports background to the lacrosse field as I see and read the field well leading my club team in assists. But also my dodging and play making helps me contribute many goals to all the teams I play (leading my town and club team in goals). I have good stick work and am confident in both of my hands. I also work well with all my teammates and that is reflected in our play doing a two man game, pick and roll, and give and go. I also am a very unselfish player and always look for the open player and see when its not there and try not to force. I also pride myself in leadership and being coachable which lead me to earn awards and get recognized. I also push myself academically taking multiple math classes and doing honors, and resulted in high honors and an academic award. I want to bring my passion of lacrosse to the highest level possible and I know my strong lacrosse abilities as well as multi sport mental toughness and ability to see and read the field would be an asset for a team.
