I started playing lacrosse at the age of five and have loved playing the game from the moment I put a stick in my hand. My coach recognized me with the Foley award for Williamsburg Warriors when I played U10. The Foley award is a leadership award given to the player that has exhibited leadership, supported her teammates and played the game with great sportsmanship. I have played travel club lacrosse for nine years. I am the leader on the defense for my travel club team YJS South 23. I started on my high school varsity team, Warhill Lions, as an eighth grader at attack and finished third on the team in scoring. I am comfortable handling the ball with both hands, dodging left and right, and setting up teammates to score. I excel at man to man defense and set up the transitions making the smart pass up the field off of the clear or forced turnover. I volunteer at my church, coach U10 lacrosse, and referee girls youth lacrosse. I was selected and played as a 2021 UA150 defender. I was also a starting defender on the 2021 American Select 2023 North Carolina team. Voted First Team All Conference in 2021 and 2022. I was selected as a 2022 US Lacrosse All American and US Lacrosse All Academic as a junior. I helped lead my high school team to its first ever state championship with a 13-0 record. I led the league in scoring in total points (100), goals (74), and caused turnovers (60) as a midfielder.
