Recruit Profile
Great teammate, gritty player who works consistently to improve every aspect of my game. Shifty dodger, strong Lax IQ, I'm at my best when the game is on the line.
I started playing Lacrosse in the 2nd grade and initially was a Goalie, wanting to follow in my Dad and Uncle's footsteps who were both Division 1 Goalies in college (Air Force and Notre Dame). By 6th grade I realized Goalie wasn't for me and made the transition to Attack where I have been playing ever since. In 7th grade I was the leading scorer on my Middle School team, winning the City Championship and in 8th grade I was the leading scorer on both my Middle School team and High School JV team before our season was shortened due to the pandemic. In my Freshman Year of High School, I was the only Freshman Starter on Varsity and the leading goal scorer on the team with 48 Goals. I was 2nd on the team in total points with 48 G's and 18 A's. As a result, I received All-State, All-Region, and All-Metro Honors as a Freshman for a team that was 14-4 and a State semi-finalist. I was also selected to represent Team Tennessee in the IWLCA Women's National Tournament and also made the American Select Tennessee team. My strongest assets are the ability to dodge with both hands and a strong Lax IQ that leads me to be a natural leader on the field. In fact, this past summer with my No-Excuse Club team, I played in the lower left attack position in an effort to improve my left hand dodges and be a more complete attacker.
Academically, I am maintaining straight A's in All-Honors classes as well as AP Geography and AP US History. I am on the High Honor Roll as well as Peer committee. I am also a Varsity Football Cheerleader where I was 1 of only 3 Freshman who made the team during tryouts last year.
