Allie Meyer
Recruit Profile
Team player, coachable, hard worker, driven multi-sport athlete, strong communicator, leader
When I first got into sports at age 5 or so, I played every sport imaginable and loved each for its individuality and respective strategies. I fell in love with sports as a whole, and knew I wanted to be an athlete for as long as I possibly could. As I got older, I began to narrow down my athletic interests.
I realized in around seventh grade that I wanted to pursue lacrosse in high school and beyond. In my freshman year of lacrosse, I made varsity for both winter track and lacrosse. Come sophomore year, I broke the top ten all time list for fastest 800m times in winter track at my high school. During my sophomore lacrosse season, I broke 100 goals in that season alone. While that statistic was certainly rewarding, I pride myself on my ability to show myself beyond the stat book. In the midfield, I can direct my teammates on the circle to where the ball is going, I look for quick passes in transition, and anticipate passes in the re-defend. On attack, my main role is to create: movement, openings for my teammates, and lanes to drive. On defense, I am a very strong communicator, and understand the need for each member to work on a string to double and recover. After my sophomore season, I was voted a Catholic Academy (my school’s league) All-Star.
Regarding academics, I have always taken my school work very seriously. I took AP World History freshman year, AP US History and AP Language and Composition sophomore, and every other class both years were at the honors level. I finished with the highest grades in Honors Geometry, Honors Algebra 2, Honors English 1, Honors Biology, and Spanish 1 my freshman year, and have excelled in Pre-Calculus my sophomore year. I am involved in Spanish Club, Math League, and Biology club. I had a leadership role in Mission and Ministry (the service organization at my school) and Athletic and Spirit Club. I was the assistant editor my sophomore year for my school newspaper aw well.

Allie has been a key member of the nationally ranked Ultimate Elite 2024 team and Ultimate CC 2024 Blue team for the last 3+ years. There are 100 words to describe Allie, but there is one that jumps straight to mind: LEADER. She leads by example on and off the field, you can hear her voice communicating on defense, and she can light a fire or calm down the offense effortlessly. On top of being a leader, Allie is extremely skilled. Her stickwork, control, poise, and movement off ball are all qualities any offensive unit needs. In the midfield, she is our team's draw specialist - placing the ball 9/10 times where it needs to go. Allie will easily become a lacrosse coach in her future! Any coach/team would be lucky to have such a smart, driven, coachable, and talented player such as Allie Meyer.
